Drew's Community Job Weapons.

In DC's CCRP a lot of the in-game jobs such as cop or terrorist come with their own set of weapons. Some have pistols, others have snipers. Today we're going to be checking out all the different kinds and their damages that I managed to test within the server. I'm also going to be giving my own personal opinion on these yet at the same time I really wish that you, the players, would leave your feedback in the comments below as well.

Disclaimer - I'm not a gun professional, nor did I search every single one of these guns online. I'm sorry if the weapon types don't match exactly like they should be, it's given just to get a basic In game representation.

All pistols except the Deagle should obviously be weak as hell, since they're normal standard small little pistols. You don't expect them to do a big punch, so they don't. Although, I think these damage numbers that they showed me are too low for the modern fight. We're talking a normal officer vs some ass with 20 prestiges and possibly a decent legendary that he crafted. Since cops need a chance to stand against them I think the pistols need to get buffed. P99 and FN at an equal level more or less, but the Deagle over those since it can fire big rounds irl it should do decent damage here as well.

Buff all pistol damage.
Increaese both P99 and FN to do around 200-250 in body and deagle to 500 in body.

The shotguns are a tricky thing. As you can see the damages seem to fine with them, but you do have to remember one thing. This is when I was standing against a player and did point blank shots, meaning that ALL the pellets fired hit their target. In a real fight you're NEVER going to have that, so these damages are quite awful. The tests were done without the buckshots since they just reduce damage.

Buff both shotguns damage and reduce spread.
Stevens to 680 and M1014 to 550

Okay, Assault Rifles some are actually pretty decent. Guns such as the AR-15 which have a fast fire rate, if controlled can be quite balanced in close to medium ranges, otherwise it's garbage. The ones that are labeled as "fast" or lower are pretty meh' they can be used, but a player with a legendary will own you.
Buff M16A4, M4A1 and FN Fal to all do 180-200 dmg.

Snipers.

The only sniper we have isn't too bad damage wise, it's more stupid in the fact that you have 5 bullets, then you might or you might not hit the target and then suffer from it deeply. If you get the upper hand in a headshot, you have a chance at winning, but just like the rest I believe needs a buff.

Doesn't need any real changes.

A new player joining the server finding out people have 3000 more hp than him is bad enough. Finding out his pistol does 100 damage is even worse. Incredibly overpowered guns against poor job weapons should not be the case here. Deputy sheriffs might not need super good weapons but swat and military should have some good weapons. We don't want to leave a bad taste in a players mouth. A priority should be that making sure that new players should be enjoying their time and not get steamrolled all the time.

We don't want to leave a bad taste in a players mouth. A priority should be that making sure that new players should be enjoying their time and not get steamrolled all the time.
The reason people have op weapons and alot of skills upgraded is becouse they waste their time playing on the server. So they deserver their stats and weapons, why should new players just get them for free by using a job? Also the mk18 is fucking op and i think the US Marshal uses it, so in my opinion new players shouldnt just get new weapons and go around rdm'ing people and actually being able to kill them

Perhaps new jobs such as deputy sheriff and detective do not need such good weapons. Something along the lines of an epic spas with short range and 5 bullets in the mag can do. SWAT and Military are jobs that deserve good weapons and the players who are that job have been on the server for a good amount of time and have a good understanding of the rules (around private first class). Those guns should be buffed.

A new player joining the server and decides he wants to be a prick today so he changes jobs to a government officer and instantly gets what others have been working towards for months just to rdm, the server is unique in a way that it rewards people for the amount they play (aswell as being afk alot, but mainly play time), I agree they should have some guns that can actually do damage, but should not be on par to high tier legendarys as it would simply be unfair on people who put effort into their shit, aswell as attracting people who's only intentions are to RDM because they can get the best guns in a matter of seconds

which is why im suggesting that deputy sheriff, security guard etc. guns should be buffed a tiny bit and the other job guns (perhaps private first class and above) can be buffed.

Swat uses it and you prob only have it at max dmg improvement
